THE ASK:
JanSport wants a fresh, Gen-Z facing Back To School campaign for 2022 that highlights the brand’s sustainability efforts.

THE WORK:
The unique problem we had to solve was finding the right way to discuss a global issue that this generation is already feeling jaded about, especially when it comes to brands. Our solution was to be brutally honest and transparent resulting in our anti-ad campaign that spun “eco-friendly” ad tropes on their heads.  Think: angsty teen in a trash pile and old farmer in a field.
